Combination Treatment

Combination Treatment

Psychiatric medications can be used alone or in conjunction with psychotherapy to treat many conditions. Each individual case is different and may require a different approach. Dr. Choy specializes in the integration of medication and cognitive behavioral therapy. After your initial evaluation, Dr. Choy will discuss with you the risks and benefits of combination treatment versus medication or therapy treatment alone.

Combination treatment is 50 minutes in duration, and occurs with the same frequency as needed for therapy sessions. Medication is managed during the same session, so a separate medication management visit is not needed.
